IFDA EF Valerie Moran Memorial Grant Winner 2018
I am honored and excited to receive the IFDAEF 2018 Valerie Moran Grant for outstanding innovation in design and merchandising. The grant is awarded yearly to members who seek to expand knowledge through travel and professional development studies. I will be exploring forecasting methodologies, taking the Scenarios Planning workshop at The Copenhagen Institute for Future Studies and researching Danish culture as it impacts Interior Design and City Planning.
The Valerie Moran Grant honors the memory of a revered designer, innovator, merchandiser and business leader. Here is what the Education Foundation Chairman, Caroline Baer Rogow had to say about this year’s recipients, “I am truly touched by designers’ growing interest in making our world space more accessible and friendly. It’s also uplifting to see design pros and students alike engaged in sustainable projects, designing with our environment in mind.” Read about each of the IFDAEF Grant recipients in this announcement at Furniture World.
